Jess Trent Reflexology
Your body already knows something is off.
You've been keeping things moving. Holding the home, the work, the worry - often all three at once. You're functioning, mostly. But somewhere underneath the functioning, there's a tiredness that sleep doesn't seem to touch.
Reflexology won't fix your life. But it might return you to yourself for an hour. And sometimes, that hour changes everything that follows.
“There's that familiar place of peace that arrives when your body remembers its own quiet rhythm. This is the work Jess offers - a gentle return to your most natural state.”
It isn't about the mind.
Most of what we reach for when we're depleted works on the mind - the podcast, the bath, the scroll. Reflexology works somewhere else entirely.
It works through the body. Through pressure on specific points on the feet and hands, connected by reflex pathways to every organ, gland and system - it invites the nervous system to exhale. Not through thinking. Not through doing. Through being worked on.
The experience is difficult to explain in advance, which is one of the reasons people hesitate to book. But most people who come once book again. Not because they fully understand why it's working, but because they can feel that it is.
“She skilfully layered her intuitive insights with a practical sense of what my body needed.
Utterly transformative.”
A session with Jess is unhurried, and never just about the feet. She takes in the whole picture - your energy, your season, what your body seems to be holding - and works intuitively from there.
You'll leave feeling something most people describe as both lighter and more grounded. Restored to yourself.
For the woman at a crossroads she can't quite name.
Reflexology works beautifully at pinch points - during recovery from illness or surgery, through burnout, during fertility treatment or pregnancy, in perimenopause, in grief, in the quiet upheaval of a life that's changing shape.
But it also works simply as maintenance.
As a rhythm.
As the one hour in the month that belongs entirely to you.
Reflexology understands that. It works with your body's own rhythms rather than against them. Many clients find that coming regularly - once a month, or once a fortnight - creates a kind of anchor. A place to return to themselves between the demands of everything else.
Life is not linear. It’s cyclical. Seasons turn. Tides rise and fall. The heart beats not in a straight dash, but in a rhythm of expansion and contraction.

Salt & Moon Circle
Not quite ready for a full session?
Come to a Salt Circle first. Twice a month, Jess opens her home to a small group of women for an evening of warm salt foot baths, moon musings, and genuine rest.
£15.
No experience needed.
Reflexology works with your body's own rhythms rather than against them. Many clients find that coming regularly - once a month, or once a fortnight - creates a kind of anchor. A place to return to themselves between the demands of everything else.
The 60/90mins isn't a luxury. It's the thing that makes everything else sustainable.
What a reflexology session looks like.
You'll arrive at Jess's home practice in Ely / Yoga Studios in Little Downham - both calm, unhurried space - and begin with a quiet conversation about how you're feeling, what your body has been carrying, what you're hoping for. There's no pressure to have answers.
You'll lie fully clothed on a reclining treatment chair, shoes and socks off. Jess will work through your fee for the full session. Most people feel deeply relaxed within the first few minutes. Some fall asleep. Many notice things shifting during the session itself: warmth, tingling, emotion, a sense of something releasing.
Afterwards, you'll have a few minutes to return to yourself before you leave. Jess may share what she noticed, or simply let the session speak for itself.
You'll be asked to drink plenty of water for the rest of the day, and to move gently. Some people feel a little tender or emotional in the 24 hours after - this is normal, and part of how the body integrates the work.
“I leave a treatment feeling restored: nurtured, balanced and uplifted.
Jess takes in the WHOLE picture - it's never going to be just about the feet and nothing else.”
A Quiet Adventure
Small group coastal retreats for women.
A few times a year, a small group of women gather on the British coastline. On the Isle of Anglesey in Wales. In North Devon. In the quiet that only arrives when the sea is close and the pace finally slows.
These are not wellness retreats in the conventional sense. There are no schedules packed with fitness sessions, no pressure to share or process aloud, no agenda beyond the one the landscape quietly sets.
Instead: long mornings on coastal paths - barefoot if the mood takes you. Private reflexology sessions tucked into the afternoons. Meals that linger. Evenings that wind down around candlelight and salt foot baths and the kind of conversation that only happens when women are given genuine permission to slow down.
“What Jess offers is more than a retreat - it’s a weaving of story, ritual, sea and sisterhood.”
- A Quiet Adventure guest
The houses are chosen for their relationship with water & sky - poised on estuaries, reached by sandy tracks, with hot tubs overlooking the tide and windows that frame the kind of skies that change the way you think.
Each guest has their own room. Some guests arrive alone. Most leave having met someone who now knows the shape of their heart.
“Some places change you, you can’t help it. You immerse yourself in them, you become entwined. A gentle, quiet adventure.”
- A Quiet Adventure guest
Jess hosts & curates each retreat herself - as reflexologist, barefoot walking guide, storyteller, and the person who makes sure the hot tub is warm and the morning is unhurried.
She has a gift for holding space that manages to feel both deeply personal and entirely undemanding.
This is not a retreat where you’ll be asked to over-share or perform.
It’s smaller than that, and richer.
Three retreats a year. Six guests at most. Dates fill quietly, often through word of mouth.
If something in you is drawn toward the coast - toward a few days of being held rather than holding everything - the current dates are below.
